Nearly 6000 students attend Spokane Community College (SCC), a fully-accredited public institution, where more than 130 different academic programs are offered.
SCC has a very strong intensive English language program, delivering 20 instructional hours per week. Students in the top level of the program can also take one academic class during their final term. Students completing the program are offered guaranteed admission to the regular academic program at SCC, and to our sister-college, Spokane Falls Community College. Student may begin ESL classes on any Monday. So students do not have to wait until the start-of-term to begin their English program.

A "World-Class" HomeStay Program!
Our HomeStay Program is "world-class", and all our host families are native English speakers. Most host families are located within 45 minutes to campus by bus, and all students have private rooms, internet, and in many cases private baths. HomeStay is one of the best things about Spokane Community College.
Spokane Community College (SCC) is the sister-institution to Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC), and together they are united under The Community Colleges of Spokane name.

Students completing the ESL - English as a Second Language program at SFCC are offered guaranteed admission to the regular academic program at SFCC and at SCC.
International students who apply to SFCC or to SCC may also receive a conditional admission to one of our partner Universities:
