St. Norbert College (established in 1898) is a highly ranked, 4-year, private university near Green Bay, Wisconsin. We are located on the Fox River in the quiet town of De Pere, a suburb of Green Bay - a city famous for its NFL football team "Green Bay Packers"

The ESL Institute (established 1993) offers non-credit, intensive, English language classes to prepare students for university admission and professional careers. Typically 50-60 students from 12-15 countries are enrolled in the ESL program. We are proud to offer many support services to help students acquire English language skills as well as American academic and social values. ESL students enjoy these additional services:

• 20 class hours each week: 8:00 to noon daily
• 3 levels: low, intermediate, advanced. Completion of a level is only possible in May, August and December. One level may take 4 months to complete.
• School year admission dates: January, March, August, October
• Summer semester admission dates: May, June, July (4-week sessions)
• Average class size of 8-10; maximum class size 15
• Free airport pickup at Green Bay Airport (GRB)
• Friendship families (for students enrolled for more than 8 weeks)
• Conversation partners with American students*
• Free tutors afternoons and evenings*
• Help with immigration questions and issues
• College dormitories and food service (required)
• College Health Center
• SNC medical insurance is required of all students ($68 per month in 2009-2010)
• College computer labs, library, cafeteria, student center, sports center, fine arts center, sports and club activities.
• Admission requirement: minimum age 17 and high school completion**
